We find and support the best and brightest scientists, engineers and technologists. We foster an environment that emphasizes intellectual freedom and true collaboration. We provide the best scientific tools available – and when they don’t exist, we invent them.
While our vision is to help cure, prevent or manage all disease in our children’s lifetime, our mission is to invent the future of life science research.
We come to work each day excited and energized to develop and apply the most advanced technologies, and collaborate with brilliant colleagues to go after diseases in ways that aren’t contemplated at traditional research facilities.
Our scientists, investigators and engineers will supply the scientific community with a steady stream of tools and discoveries that will break down the complexity of human disease and light new pathways towards cures.
And as we move forward we will reach out to colleagues at other research institutions, and in the Silicon Valley tech community, sharing tools and ideas as we build new momentum for the global fight against disease.
Our three university partners provide the very backbone of Biohub’s work. Our investigators come from these outstanding research institutions, and their faculty will be an integral part of our day-to-day operations here at Biohub. We welcome their faculty to come join us here, and will be (gratefully!) using their on-site facilities as well, fostering our commitment to unwavering collaboration.
