Vida Ahyong is a CZ Biohub Fellow and a member of the Rapid Response team with a background in pathogen genomics, drug discovery, and bioinformatics. As a Biohub Fellow, she is pursuing independent research to discover host-directed therapeutics against a variety of intracellular pathogens. As a scientist on the Rapid Response team, Ahyong is training scientists around the world to use new tools and technologies to identify and detect pathogens through metagenomic sequencing.
