Software Engineering

The Software Engineering Group works on a wide range of software projects, from core internal infrastructure tools to data portals. 

The Group is in charge of developing and maintaining critical software infrastructure, such as sample submission systems and analysis pipelines for the Genomics and Mass Spectrometry platforms, and public-facing data portals; maintaining the CZ Biohub SF’s Github presence and enforcing our Github repository rules; acting as a hub for coordinating cross-team software development efforts to avoid duplication of effort; and educating other software developers at Biohub SF on best development practices.
